Working closely with individuals, arts organisations, youth organisations and local high schools, Y-culture provides opportunities
for young people (12 - 25 yrs) to become more involved in WCG, with artists and their practices, and the art world at large.
The Y-culture initiative emphasises skills development across a range of disciplines and includes forums, mentor programs,
exhibitions, and visual arts / music / performance / creative writing hybrid projects.

Cops in the Head:
performance, yarns, food and drink
Thursday 21 & Friday 22 February, 8-9pm
Cops in the Head, directed by Stephen Wilson-Alexander,
mingles anecdotes with video projection and masses of
paper with discussions on social restraints, both internal
and external.
This project has been devised by Wollongong based re:group
performance collective and draws on stimulus provided by kids
from Wollongong Youth Centre.
